Castledine Motorcycles is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of all those who use our website and our services in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data we collect may be provided by you if you use our website enquiry form or call/email us to ask for information. These personal details will include your name, email and your telephone number. We collect this information so that we can respond to your enquiry and contact you in the future about new products, promotions and related news and information. We will only contact you for marketing purposes by email/mail. We may contact you by telephone regarding your query or current/past purchases from us.

If you become a customer of Castledine Motorcycles we will also store your address. We hold details for customers in order for us to fulfil our contractual obligation, for our accounting purposes and to contact you in the future about our new products, promotions and related news/events. We never share these details with third parties unless it is essential for us to provide you with our service. For example, we will need to share your name and address if we need to deliver one of our motorcycles to you.

We do not store any bank details and any card details for payment are shredded after use.

Your data is stored on our email system and the Catalyst dealer management system. Both are password protected. We also store details on our salespad/order book which is stored in a lockable filing cabinet in a key coded office. Any email marketing that we send out is sent through the Suzuki SDX system.

We will only hold personal data unless we are advised otherwise by the customer or client. As a family run company we pride ourselves on our customer service and regular, repeat business. Storing your information ensures that we can always provide a personal, efficient service.

We take care to ensure that our website is protected and secure however due to the nature of the internet it is impossible for us to secure the whole internet entirely. As a user, it is your responsibility to acknowledge this and to understand that the personal details you give to us by your own choice across the internet are transferred at your own risk.

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold for you free of charge, and ask for your information to be amended or removed. To do so, please write to the business address at the bottom of this policy. We will respond to your request within 30 days providing you provide us with proof of identity.

We will update this policy in response to legal, technical or business developments. This policy was last updated in May 2018.
